I drive an hour each way to see Dr. Adam Rubin because he is a fantastic person and optometrist. I used to work with him. I have known him, and been his patient 25 years. I was told today that they could only see 2 members of the same family at once. I cannot drive over an hour on 2 different days. Staff says there are no exceptions under their new corporate management. So very disappointed. A shame to lose such a great doctor for my family. And for the new corporate management to set blanket policies with no actual basis responsive to an actual patient problem or missed appointment history. The corporate company is losing patients and associated revenue by setting ridiculous policies and taking away the doctors autonomy and ability to make exceptions. I didn't visit as the new rules would not allow me to book my family for one trip, they say I'd have to drive over an hour on 2 separate days using double my PTO. This was my first visit with Dr. Samala Khan and I had an amazing experience. The office staff was very friendly with getting me setup before the doctor came. When running through my annual exam and updating my prescription Dr. Khan was very thorough and kind. She was continuously checking in on how my new prescription felt and even had me walk around to make sure they weren't too strong since she wanted to try a new stronger prescription. After the appointment Stephanie Figueroa helped me with check out and helped me get the most of my insurance so I only paid for the co-pay. She explained that my past eye doctor's were not billing my insurance correctly so I was pay a lot more for my exam and my contacts. I'm so grateful to have found this office and highly recommend for anyone looking for a new eye doctor's office! Also there was a LQBTQIA+ pride flag on the welcome desk showing this is a safe space which I really appreciated ❤️

The associates are always very helpful, kind and consistent. Have seen the same faces since weve been coming for several years too, so its nice that their turnover seems to be nonexistent with employees. They are always efficient, thorough, and courteous with plenty of options for eyewear-care!

I received a survey along with other surveys and I messed up and rated this business incorrectly. So corporate - if you’re paying attention, this is how I feel. I can in for issues with my eye and after examination, assurances, instructions, and a prescription - I’m well on my way to recovery. I was able to get an appointment the same day and everyone was very responsive. Thanks again Dr Miller
