I’ve been going to Dr. Khan since 2018 for monitoring of a detached retina that I’ve dealt with for many many years. I am from CT and had an outstanding retina doctor there so I was skeptical about finding the same kind of service in my new home. Dr. Khan has been wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He takes the time to listen to all of my questions and concerns. He is always willing to work with me to find a solution to my issues.

The doctor might be great, but after sitting in a packed waiting room for an hour without my scheduled appointment starting and watching a staff of three make their lunch plans yet offer no explanation about how long I would be waiting (or why) I left. They kindly offered a refund of my copayment but no explanation and no information about just how behind they were running They have more patients than they are apparently capable of handling. They clearly have too many patients to provide care to me.
Walked in to find the desk staff laughing and joking. I was asked to fill out paperwork which I asked if this could have been done online. "we don't do that" and they both laughed. After some TIME, I was taken back and had primary tests performed by one of the girls from the counter (?) Eyes now dialated, I'm sitting in a room waiting for more tests once the "machine" becomes availble. After more time just sitting there I went to ask the girls when might I be seen, "he has two ahead of you" and "we told you so". My 11:30 appointment was now up to 12:50. I left but on my way out one asked me "if I wanted to reschedule"."Are they kidding?" It was kind of a surprise that the office is not on YELP. Now I will find a real Ophthalmologist who respects their patients. A staff who does not yawn where I can see fillings. Be able to fill forms online. Have clean examining rooms with no overflowing waste cans. I can't stress enough how poorly run this outfit is.
Been there twice over 3 years. Office staff especially friendly this latest time. Minimal wait time too. Both times though, the Dr was great. Very patient and thorough. He answered all of my questions and really put me at ease.
UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE. I am a veteran who is currently having problems with the VA, so I planned on paying out of pocket for an eyelid stye surgery. I was quoted 3 different prices over the phone, then when I walked in for my initial appointment, I was quoted another price even higher! I did not plan on having the surgery on the same day, as I will not be able to drive, but they almost wanted to force me by saying it would be an additional $175 every time I walk in. I cancelled my appointment, and walked out. No customer service whatsoever. Waste of my time.
