I had not been to an eye doctor in ten years or had new glasses. So when I went I was a little nervous but the staff was so nice and they were making jokes with one another and laughing and it made me feel more relaxed and not so tense. When I went in for the exam the doctor was very nice with the words she chose when she spoke with me. I'm not on insurance and I am most certainly not got a lot of money. I work part time as a server and go to college. Every dollar I make I need to support my family. So the eye doctor really wasn't in the cards for me. When I got some help from school I had a chance to go. Which I am used to going to any kind of doctor and them telling me how bad I have made it worse for myself not coming in for check ups this and that, but if you can't afford it then you can't. I mean my son definitely comes first. Either way I usually here about the things that are wrong cause I couldn't go regularly and most of the time in a rude way like putting me down. I hate going back to most doctors. This doctor understood that I couldn't afford it and spoke with me with respect and made sure the transition to stronger glasses was as easy as possible. I can't wait to go back and see them all.
