I am on day three of waiting for a call back from my counselor. This is after months of incessant automated phone calls, the pharmacy seemingly incapable of managing my prescriptions, billing randomly charging me for things I have paid for, or billing me for things like a year after the event while also not allowing me to even pay my copay. Now I am trying to figure out how to even work with this clinic to make appointments during my new work week, and I am absolutely tired of this facility. I have never seen anyone have this much trouble doing basic administrative tasks. I give up. If this is just how this place runs, I'll go look for another place to go.

The waits take forever, the "doctors" just look at you for about 1 minute, poke at you once, and then flip their laptop around and show you some pictures off google images 🤔 saying "i think it might be this", now two days later my finger is worse... this is the last straw with this place for me, time after time they will fail you i promise that. I literally just paid over $150.00 for them to basically show me pictures i already seen on my phone before i decided to make an appointment. They are never consistent at all.... id say youd have better luck with Dr. Doom. Good luck if you dare, you're gonna need it.
I have never encountered such insolence and disrespect in a medical office in my life. I took my 9 month old here for a wellness check up like I have for the past nine months and the doctor we seen, Dr. Melinda Cusack, was beyond rude, disrespectful, and treated me like I was dumb. My daughter has been suffering from a yeast infection in her thighs since before she came home from the NICU. I have been prescribed 2 creams and 1 oral antibiotic of which none have helped. Our regular physician, Dr Aurora Wernette, is on maternity leave, but she also lacks bedside manners. Dr. Cusack looked through my daughter’s chart and said we should get genetic testing done. I said no, it’s not needed. I have consulted with a fetal maternal specialist since I was 25 weeks pregnant and even he said it’s not needed. Dr. Cusack didn’t even review her chart before she came in the room. She took 10 mins during our appt to do so. I then requested a referral to a pediatric oral surgeon for my daughter’s extreme lip tie and tongue tie to be cared for properly. We were referred to West Shore ENT the first time by Dr. Wernette and this ENT only did a partial clip with no topical numbing and a pair of scissors, which caused my daughter a great amount of pain and profuse bleeding. Dr. Cusack wanted to argue with me and say that’s how we’ve done for a long time and that she would do it if she had a pair of scissors. I said I know that but they now have lasers and that’s what I want. I wanted the referral so my daughter’s insurance (dual coverage) would pay for it as I cannot afford $1400 out of pocket on the spot for this or for her to at least be numbed. She then proceed to again speak to me like I’m dumb and don’t know how insurance works. If a doctor seems something medically necessary, insurance must do their best to provide coverage. I will never bring my daughter here again nor myself for dental work. I am utterly disgusted by Dr. Cusack’s bedside manner and ability to speak to parents like we don’t know what’s best for our children. A doctor who seen my child for the first time ever, wants to tell me my child may be Down syndrome or have something else when a specialist already said she doesn’t. I know my child is in perfect health as I have a special needs Aunt. My child is meeting all her milestones despite being 1 month premature, IUGR, and born 4 lbs 2 oz. Not only did Dr. Cusack not put in the referral but also failed to put in for a new prescription for yeast infection cream.
This happened a few years back but it's still affecting me and making me upset everyday so I figured I'd review. When doc do or whatever his name was still worked there they tried telling me I needed hardware removed from the right side of my jaw for infection. I pushed them off because I knew It didn't need to be done. One day I get a call for an appointment I didn't make saying I needed to come in to have it done. I gave in and did it, they didn't use any anesthesia and cut my gums open and unscrewed my hardware from my jaw in a dentist chair. I now have a galore of issues related to what this doctor did (said by "actual" doctors) and both looked at the xray this place took and said there was no reason to remove it. Do not trust this place with anything serious.
Compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable staff today and on every visit I've made here since relocating to the area from the "east side". Kristy at the front desk greats you with a smile, the tech listens and laughs, and best of all you feel like everyone is doing their best to give appropriate medical guidance (welcome back Donesha!). The Great Lakes area is lucky to have you in their community! Thank you.
