Don't even deserve one start. Our appointment was at 10 and the nurse called us in at 11 and currently (11:10) still waiting on the doc. Who knows how long it will take???? This is the second time. First time we had to wait for another hour for the doc to come in. What's more upsetting is this is not an emergency situation, they didn't squeeze us in at the last minute. Our appointment is a followed up appointment and they got us this spot 5 weeks ago. Overbooking much?? Incompetence much??? Never coming back this fleming island location or ALL OF IT

Had a great experience. The staff was gentle and caring with my child. They explained every step and next steps thoroughly and made sure I understood completely before leaving.

Avoid scheduling an appointment here unless absolutely necessary! We had our first visit at Nemours for my daughter, who has been seeing an ENT since she was six months old. This visit was meant to be a routine hearing test followed by a brief ENT check-in. I was shocked by the cost of $645 for a 10-minute appointment with Dr. Spreecher. My daughter is now six, and we’ve consistently seen ENTs every six months. The hearing test itself was standard, but the billing was outrageous. The appointment was coded as a 40-minute new consultation, even though the entire visit, including the hearing test and ENT follow-up lasted no more than 20 minutes. We received both after-visit summaries within that timeframe, which further confirms the duration was inaccurately recorded. I contacted the office to dispute the charge, but they simply stated, “That’s what we have on record.” I then reached out to our insurance provider, who also attempted to challenge the claim, but they were given the same response. Unfortunately, it came down to my word versus the doctor’s documentation, and there was nothing more we could do. To put it in perspective, we’ve paid less for an emergency room visit. This review is to warn others: for basic ENT care, Nemours is unreasonably expensive. I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.

Where do I start????! Every single staff member, doctor and nurse that we have interacted with has been beyond AMAZING, KIND and PATIENT! Everyone has treated us so lovely. Taken extra time to explain thing’s in a way that my son and I understand. Not just a bunch of medical terminology that we wouldn’t understand. Never have we felt rush or just like a “number”. They are so involved and the bedside manner is extraordinary! Words cannot express the amount gratitude that I have knowing that my son is in such exceptional hands. I would like to personally thank them for caring so much. The healthcare profession is not easy and I am sure that they feel depleted and overwhelmed a lot. What they do is so appreciated. Thank You.
