I am extremely disappointed with how this appointment was handled. My eye appointment was scheduled for 1:30 PM, and like most medical offices require, we arrived early. My wife and I also had our 5-month-old baby with us. We use Modivcare for transportation, which typically arrives ahead of the scheduled time, so we were dropped off early as expected. When we arrived, we discovered the office was closed from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM for lunch. This was never disclosed when the appointment was scheduled. Because of that lack of communication, we were forced to wait outside with our infant until the office reopened. It is unacceptable that patients are expected to arrive early, yet the office is completely closed until the exact appointment time — especially without informing patients in advance. Had I been told about this mid-day closure, I would not have scheduled an appointment at 1:30 PM, particularly with a young baby and arranged medical transportation involved. Clear and transparent communication is the bare minimum patients deserve. This situation was avoidable and created unnecessary stress and inconvenience for my family. P.S. The Doctors themselves very professional and experience was decent.But If you decided to leave based on not being told this you wouldn’t know.

New Castle Eye Associates was one of the best experiences I've had as a mother for her child who just learned that her child has an astigmatism. I was educated and the entire Staff made us feel welcomed and relaxed throughout the process. I can't thank you all enough!!

I usually get good service here, as I've been getting my glasses from here for 15 years. But today I feel like I was being racially profiled. I had to remove my contacts as they were a price I couldn't afford. The lady who was servicing me was speaking to me in a way that was insenuating I intended to steal the contacts and there were other patients in the space so it was very embarrassing.

I had my appointment for an eye check up today and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to finish. I was taken in at my appointed time given one side of the test and then over to Dr Cluff for the rest of my eye exam. I then found out my eyes have changed and I needed new classes. The young lady who helped me with the glasses was absolutely a gem. She did not rush me and helped me find the right pair for my eyes. They are some really wonderful people there and I really like the practice.

Professional, and timely. I was seen within 10 minutes of my scheduled time and all services were on board with previous visits. Always professional and courteous!
