New County Optical

Been going to New County Optical for about 5 years now for both sunglasses and prescription glasses. I usually go for the higher end frames and they always have great selection and quality stuff. What really made me want to leave this review was the customer service. I had a pair of Yves Saint Laurent glasses get damaged while playing basketball and thought I was basically out of luck. Scott over at New County Optical really went to bat for me and after a couple weeks was able to get me a brand new pair exactly how I originally ordered them with the blue light lenses and everything. These guys really know what they’re doing and they know how to take care of their customers. Whether you need prescription glasses or just want something stylish, definitely check out New County Optical. Solid people and great service.

I came to this store thanks to my doctor’s recommendation, and from the moment I walked in, I was happy I trusted her advice. I was welcomed with warmth, kindness, and such positive energy. They immediately made me feel comfortable, and I was taken care of very well throughout the entire process. Even though my insurance already covered almost everything I needed, I still chose to fully trust their recommendations, and I’m truly glad I did. They explained honestly and clearly what I could expect from my glasses, and they were absolutely right. I finally have glasses that allow me to see and study comfortably without straining or hurting my eyes. They paid great attention to every detail, especially during the measurements, to make sure my glasses were perfect for me. My glasses arrived earlier than expected, which was already a wonderful surprise. Then, on the very first day, I noticed a small scratch on one of the lenses. Honestly, it could have happened because of me just as much as it could have already been there, since I had only had the glasses for less than an hour. What impressed me the most, though, was their attitude: they asked me to come back the next day, checked the glasses, noticed the scratch, and immediately ordered a replacement lens. It was probably a bit of an unusual situation because, after such a short amount of time, it would have been difficult to determine who was responsible. Still, they replaced it without questioning me or making things complicated. Three days later, I came back and they replaced the lens for me. What truly makes this place special, in my opinion, is not only their professionalism, but also the warmth, kindness, and genuine care you feel from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. Not only the owners, who were wonderful, but also every employee I interacted with. I’m writing this review wholeheartedly because when people work with passion, care, and honesty, I believe they deserve to be recognized and appreciated. I had a very positive experience with County Optical in White Plains. My initial pair of progressive lenses didn’t work out, which turned out to be due to a prescription issue—not the lenses themselves. What really stood out was how professionally and quickly County Optical handled it. Once I returned with an updated prescription, they remade both pairs of lenses at no charge and made the process easy. Progressive lenses can be tricky, and it’s reassuring to work with an optical shop that stands behind their work and takes care of the customer when something isn’t right. I appreciate their responsiveness and would recommend them.

I have been coming to County Optical by Optyx since I was 9, I’m 29 now. They truly are Westchester‘s finest! They never disappoint in every customer leaves happy. The team over there is doing something right to be in business for this long. God bless these guys!

Unprofessional, extremely salesy, rude, overpriced. Save your money, order everything online. Found my frames that were 150$ in stores, $9.75 online. Rep told me I wouldn't be able to find a better price than what they offer........ DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL SCAM YOU
