On the left, glasses from NVC that are a year old, received May 25. It's the THIRD set of lenses. I was told it was the anti-reflective coat that was coming off. First replacement -August, second - November. Thought they were fine until the end of March. Went in April to see about another replacement. Since my next appt should have been in May, they refused to order another set. They just keep getting worse. Said I scratched them. I've been wearing glasses for 35 years, but yes totally my fault. On the right are a pair of 5 year old sunglasses that have been dropped so many times, but wow, not a scratch. Guess I know how to take care of them. Avoid this place unless you wanted to be treated like an idiot.

I had a great experience at this eye center when I needed treatment for a cornea abrasion. From the moment I arrived, the staff; Jewel was kind, professional, and reassuring. The doctor took the time to explain what was going on and made sure I understood my treatment and recovery. I really appreciated how thorough and compassionate everyone was, especially when I was in pain and understandably concerned. I felt well cared for throughout the entire visit. I highly recommend this eye center to anyone needing prompt, professional eye care! Thank you again Dr. Hefner you’re an angel.
⭐ Newton Family Vision – A Warning to Anyone Considering Them I paid over $500 for a pair of glasses, and six months later the nose pieces fell off. When I took them back, they replaced the nose pads — but the employee pointed out cracks and chips in the lens that I had never noticed and certainly didn’t cause. I never dropped these glasses, yet the damage kept getting worse. Within a month, the cracks spread and the chipped areas continued to fall apart. I called and asked to speak with the manager, hoping they would stand behind their product. Instead, I was told the same thing: pay for new lenses. No help, no accountability, no concern. I am blind in my left eye and rely completely on my right eye — and the right lens was the damaged one. They still refused to do anything. I even emailed the doctor and never received a response. This is the worst place to trust with your vision. Once they have your money, they could care less about your eyes or your experience. I will never go back, and I will tell everyone I know to stay away. On the other hand, I went to Graystone this year and had the most wonderful experience. They treated me with care, respect, and professionalism — everything Newton Family Vision failed to do.
Doctor's are good but need to train or hire new office personnel. My Granddaughter has waited months on her glasses. I called to check on when they might be coming, only to be told they had been there. Nobody bothered to call or notify us in anyway that they were ready!! Will be shopping around for another place for eye care.
the tech who did my pre exam testing was very professional and nice, Dr Hefner was very professional and nice, the tech who helped me with selecting my new glasses was very professional and nice. My only problem that I had coming from someone who has worked in the medical field since 1990, is with the front desk staff. After walking up to the front desk they sat there until they wanted to help me, unprofessional in my opinion. This is my only issue.
