Dr. Inna is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. She explains things clearly, takes time to answer questions, and makes complex eye issues much easier to understand. You can tell she truly cares about helping people and pays close attention to details. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapeutic optometrist who is both skilled and caring.
I hadn't seen an optician or optometrist in years so this was my first visit in a while and was afraid I'd be implicitly shamed for it (lol). But that was not the case at all here-- I felt very welcomed and listened to. Bianca the assistant took very detailed photographs of my retinas and was so efficient. Dr. Gaston carefully reviewed my history and was very personable and professional. Dr. Gaston also went into detail about my symptoms and treatment options that were very easy to understand. Finally, I know it's a minor thing, but my wearing a KN95 respirator mask during my entire visit--as I do for all appointments and public places-- did not raise eyebrows which I so appreciate because you'd be surprised at how most other healthcare providers question patients for wearing protection (at least my other providers have). Glad I finally have an eye specialist in Houston.
My experience at Unique Eyecare & Optical has been amazing! Dr. Inna Gaston is wonderful and has a wide range of extremely high tech machinery! Bianca is really lovely and helpful! They have a beautiful selection of glasses and sun glasses! Overall, 10/10 experience and I will definitely coming back!

Dr. Gaston has fabulous, top of the line equipment (e.g. retina photos without dilation). She is efficient, friendly, and goes above and beyond for her patients. Also, good selection of glasses if you like Oliver people’s and tom ford. I have referred all my family to her. Very happy.
