Needed an eye doctor for myself that would take Tricare for a routine annual exam. Places near me in Prattville wanted a referral for a routine exam. I saw Pike Rd Family Eyecare recommended in a military spouse group and made an appointment easily. Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. Technician was professional and Dr. Hill was great. I wish I knew about this practice when my kids got referred to a different doctor in Montgomery because the experience at Pike Road was 100% seamless and I’m still having issues with the Montgomery clinic we went to 4 months ago. I also love that they didn’t push me to get glasses in house. I’ve been to other eye doctors where it feels like it’s a hustle to get you to purchase eyewear, but I didn’t feel that way here. Highly recommend.

Love! Love! Love Pike Road Family Eye Care. Everyone there is so personable and nice! I love Dr. Howell!!! She explains everything so easy and so willing to listen to what I want and to do what ever it takes to make me happy and my vision the best! Her and the techs are very professional yet down to earth and you feel at ease and know you are getting the best care!! And we have a good time talking and laughing like family!!

You are really family to them. I’m not sure how long it’s been since we started but from day one my family and I felt more the welcomed and with compassionate care. Dr. Howell is our doctor that we just love. She’s really a great doctor and person who definitely make our eyes stay working😂 But nurses are just the sweetest and the office staff are friendly but so is the area where you get your glasses. Like I said, I’m not sure how long my family and I have been going there but it’s been a long time and I haven’t had a complaint yet! Highly recommended.

Worth an hour drive for pediatric eye care. You know you’re getting excellence when you can find an optometrist that provides vision therapy and Tomato Kids glasses. We’ve moved all over the nation and seen pediatric opthamology and optometry- I feel like my child is in great hands here. Great bedside manner, thorough exam, follow-ups offered to ensure accuracy, great customer service, and kind front desk communication.
