I am getting older and struggling now with vision I couldn’t find items I needed in the club. I went to the front desk a really professional young man told me where the items could be located, I guess I still looked confused. Trevor R literally left the front desk to help me find the items I needed I felt like crying because I had been looking in the store for a while. Instead of crying in the store I decided to write this review. While I’m sure there are lots of places to shop there a not lots of places that feel like Community & Kindness. BJ Management team I hope you read this we need at least 50 Trevor R. Employees people who are willing to give help when it’s needed

We moved and were closer to this store than Costco so decided to give it a try........wwooooofffff, I can't believe people pay membership dues to come here. First they generate new store discount coupons every few weeks that you MUST manually clip (paper or app) one at a time (unlike Costco where all coupon prices process automatically when you check out, no clipping ever required). Every visit we have made to this store, some of their store coupons do not come off, even though they show as clipped in our account. When we ask at the register, they nicely give us our money back and tell us other people have complained about it (but clearly, no one is ever fixing). If you add up all the time to go through all their coupons every two weeks, the time to clip or add them to your account, the time to do a detailed review of your receipt, and spend time at customer service for your missed coupons...... EVERY time you go the store.......you could instead easily drive 5 minutes up the road to Costco and save a lot of time. That said, the smaller purchase sizes (less large bulk) is nice here and they do have a lot of recognized name brand stuff. They don't have as much organic or high-end and unique seasonal offerings as Costco. Store is smaller and less organized than Costco. Overall not impressed and the sketchiness of their coupons is shady.

Actually I'm pleased with the store, layout and pricing. However customer service appears to be an afterthought. Every time I've been to the store it has been the customers responsibility to go through the parking lot to find a cart. While this comment might seem petty it can be a serious concern for seniors and disabled customers. When I commented on it at the customer service desk the apparent attitude was "So what".

The tire center at BJ’s is where propane refills can take place. Went to the center to request a refill and no one was at the counter. I rang the service button twice and no response. After 15 minutes I went to customer service and was told “no one can help they are all busy or on break. You need to wait 30 minutes”. Interesting that no one in the whole store could help or have a manager step in and complete the task.
