I feel incredibly lucky to have found this practice, and Dr. Gonzalez. After dealing with chronic Uveitis for a year, I found him through ChatGPT lol. He clearly knows his craft, is down to earth and friendly, remembers my details without needing to read a chart, and MOST importantly he’s genuinely invested in my treatment outcomes and overall wellbeing. He and his entire office staff (especially Nikki) finally made me feel SEEN and HEARD after a year of feeling like “just another patient” at other practices. They also have an email for uveitis patients that provides greater access in the event of urgent flare-ups, which I’ve totally abused lol but am incredibly grateful for. My eye is finally under control and I am so thrilled I could cry. A HUGE thank you to NJ Retina for saving my eye and by extension, my mental health as well!

I find myself in the situation where one Dr. says take out the oil in my eye after 4 surguries and 8 months of waiting and possibly my eye will be fine. A second surgeon who did the last operation says the result of removing the oil will likely not change my, blurry, vision because the retina has been damaged in the previous operations. The two surgeons seem to think I shoudl make the decision. Rotating Drs. in this shared practice operation has its limitations. I am unhappy and do not feel well informed or confident in the next step. Hopefullly, the last.

My experience with my treatment has been excellent. One more thing: do your employees have your permission to diagnose and discuss the state of a patient's visual health with them? Thank you.

The injection into my eye wasn’t as fast as my other doctor and after it was done, I started getting floaters and I still have them three days later.

Everyone in the office in Clifton is so nice and professional. Dr Park shows care and professionalism. I recommend NJ Retina.
