My appointment was at 6:25pm I didn't get seen until 7:45pm. When I said I was frustrated they said that Dr. Purdy was one of the most sought after surgeons and was very busy. I reminded them that as people our time is important as well. I understand he is busy but not once did they tell me that he was running behind! Yes I am smart and figured it out but I work in the medical field and as a courtesy we are trained to let patients know when providers are running behind to let patients know and apologize. So I guess I was waiting for that and never received it! ☹️
As usual, I had a positive experience. The support staff were courteous and well-trained while they administered the preliminary assessments. Dr. Megan is comfortingly thorough, explains the scope of my condition and the treatments that I might need in the future. (I am 77 years old.) I will continue to count on this office for my future optical care.
To be brutally honest, my appointment lasted much too long. I waited 20 minutes for my eye exam, then an hour before the doctor saw me. Unacceptable in my estimation. My time is just as important as yours. The exam itself was fine but no one should have to wait that long. I was told you were having trouble with staffing, but that should not affect your patients.
Everyone was pleasant, kind and helpful. Staff and patients were a joy to share space together. Dr. Purdy is the best!!!!! I have a been with VCO for 32+ years and no complaints! Love and appreciate you all. Thanks for you do Dr. Purdy here at home and abroad!! Blessings
