The surgery staff are amazing...professional, taking the time to answer questions. The admin part..calling in with questions or needing to pay needs to improve. It seems as if the person who answers has to transfer and leave a message with the correct person. This is frustrating to have to await a return call and potentially have to miss that call. For the 1st surgery, I needed to pay as I am the POA for financial/medical. Because I was not taking John to surgery, I had to pay prior to his, arrival. It took 3 days and 3 messages before I connected with Jeff and could pay. Jeff did call me the,day before 2nd surgery asking if i wanted to pay which was, appreciated. For the 2nd surgery, I requested eye drops be sent to a different pharmacy. That did not happen so I had to make an extra, stop, almost making us late to surgery.

I have no complaints about the actual surgery but trying to resolve my account with the business office has been one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. They steadfastly refuse to submit my claim to the secondary insurance and will not listen even while on the phone with my insurance representative. I requested a supervisor and apparently she has no phone number and is in a 4 hour meeting. This situation could be resolved easily but since they have $850 of my money, they simply don't care.

The staff at NW Eye Surgery are terrific. However, I’m extremely disappointed with Dr Hoki. Both eyes cataract removal with not very good results. She did a laser surgery on my left eye to try and improve the condition but it was a complete failure. I read good reviews about her. I most certainly did not have that experience. Now her response is to use eyedrops for dry eye. Very disappointing indeed. Now I’m off to another eye doctor and will have to repay another doc for her errors.

That office ran like a well-oiled machine each visit. Friendly staff. Clean all the time. Easy access. And great results with my cataract surgeries!
