Norwalk Family Optometry

I had an excellent experience. Each person I interacted with was respectful and courteous. This place definitely deserves the top rating. Something that should be mentioned, The building (and the whole city block of property) is currently going through a major redevelopment. The exterior (parking lot, landscape, etc) looks terrible. But the interior of the business itself is exceptionally well maintained and decorated. (they even have a nice seating area for the kids!)

My family and I have been coming here for two years. On our latest visit my wife called to get an eye exam only. She had gotten eye and contact exams the previous visit. When we arrived she mentioned to the optometrist the she only wanted an eye exam. When she came out of the room to pay, they wanted to charge $140 for the eye contact exam. My wife explained that she declined two times for the contacts exam and that she didn’t know the optometrist performed the exam until he gave her sample contacts. The lady upfront was este rude and asked her for the sample contacts back. My wife said that she would be happy to return them. She wasn’t satisfied and continued to ask her for the sample contacts that the optometrist gave to her to try on. My wife had to take them off and was left without contacts since she disposed of her own contacts that she had walked in with and could not see until we went home to get her own. We will never come back here. Other employees were very nice, but the one behind the desk is utterly rude and does not care about patients. I would give them a 0 star if it was an option.

You guys are awesome.com! You made me feel extremely comfortable. This is coming from someone who usually is not a people person. My anxiety usually goes through the roof, but I felt a calm from the moment I walked through the door. I truly do thank you for your service and compassion towards your patients.

Friendly staff. By the time I walked in and to examination phase lastly to the doctor, it was comfortable and completely at ease feeling. Also very transparent about what you pay. No hidden fees. I would definitely recommend this place!

I’ve been a patient for many, many years. I still look forward to my annual visits/exams. The staff and doctors are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I like that the staff gives me input when asked in deciding which glasses to order. I highly recommend Norwalk Family Optometry.
