Absolutely unacceptable experience. My 5 month old baby had an appointment with GINA A CARTWRIGHT, NP. I called ahead to let the office know I was running just a few minutes late and was literally in the parking lot with my 5-month-old baby. Instead of seeing us, the provider chose to go on break knowing we were in the parking lot and then expected us to wait an entire extra hour so she could enjoy her full break instead of helping my baby. As a parent bringing in a young baby, this felt extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional. Emergencies and delays happen, especially with infants, and a little compassion would have gone a long way. This provider Gina A Cartwright should be FIRED for the lack of care for babies and unprofessionalism. I would not recommend this provider to families with small children because clearly she doesn't care about them.

They do JACK for you. Scheduled an appointment 6 months ago. Made adjustments to my work schedule to receive a call back the week prior to cancel my appointment. They inform me the Dermatologist is on Medical Leave. I asked multiple times if there was ANYTHING they could do for me because my issue is far past CityMD and my previous prescription. They lead me to another office before offering to put me on a waitlist. Luckily another office was VERY understandable and was able to compensate for their fault. The receptionist sat with me for 20 minutes to check every single office on the Island for me. Even sent a private message to one of their providers who gladly adjusted their schedule to take me early. Huntington told me i’d have to wait a few more months and rushed me off the phone. Wish i saw how many bad reviews outweigh the good ones before depending on this office. This is my first and last impression of this office.
I was on the phone with Armando T, a receptionist to book an appointment but found out that my insurance was not covered so I asked him to help me find providers that my insurance did cover and he did such an amazing job with finding me 2 different providers that would work for me along with the address and phone numbers to contact. He was very patient on the phone and I can tell he truly wanted to help and spent the time to. I really did appreciate this and customer service was a 5/5.
My doctor Is Andrew Patane who is a fantastic doctor at NYU Langone. The problem is not him but NYU Langone. It is impossible to get an appointment with your doctor. You can be sick or extremely ill and yet an appointment is 4 months out. There is no way to see your doctor and when you are sick you are stranded to go to a hospital or urgent care. Unless you schedule a physical months in advance thats pretty much why you see a dr. NYU Langone doesnt care to build relationships with your doctor and they dont care if you have anything urgent. They are just about adding more and more patients and those patients cant even get in touch with their doctor. Even in the "Portal" where you think you are messaging him. It was informed to me that 90% of the messages go to other nurses even out of state replying FOR the doctor. How insane is that?! The answer that you get that you think is from your doctor isnt. Also the front desk people are many of the times rude and cut you off to hang up and people who schedule are not caring. It is sad when a great doctor is in a facility that doesnt care about its patients.
Had an appointment in January for a lump in my breast, took the time off work, arrived on time for my appointment only to be told, for the first time that they needed hard copy of prior scans, told them their through zwanger, was told I had to get them myself & bring them to the appt. Left the office, went straight to zwanger, got all my scans, made new a appointment for tomorrow @ 745am. Rec'd a phone call at 330pm today advising me that they were once again cancelling my appointment because my scans weren't received in their office before the visit. Again, this is the first I'm hearing it. So once again I took time off work only to have them cancel my appointment again even though I have the info they requested. Rude, uncaring & absolutely unprofessional individuals who shouldn't work in such a sensitive environment working with ppl who might have cancer. Run don't walk to any other radiology!
