We were a bit hesitant to come here for my mom’s test because of the low rating, but everything went above and beyond our expectations. The whole procedure took about four hours, and my mom is incredibly grateful to everyone.... from the front desk staff to Dr. Schmuckler and the nursing staff. Everyone was attentive, courteous, and simply friendly throughout the entire experience. The facility was also clean and well-maintained. We’re very glad we chose this place and truly appreciate the care and kindness shown to my mom

Dr. Inna Abramova is a great doctor. However, the front desk on her floor, not so much. When signing electronic consents, they gave me one in a language I did not read. When I asked for an English version, instead, she turned the screen to her and said “its ok”, then proceeded to sign the consent for me. Essentially forging my signature on a consent I did not read. Highly illegal. Of course, I expressed being unhappy about that. However long down the line, when my brother went for a visit, they were telling him about my visit and that I was very “explosive” on them because they gave me a form in a wrong language. Completely failing to mention that they forged my signature and that is why I got upset. AND by telling him about my visit and me being there, they VIOLATED HIPAA IN A MAJOR WAY!!!!!! So good luck when you get hit with that fine :)

I'm so fed up with this office that I will call my insurance company and have another medical office to put me in. This office is the worst. The receptionists are okay sometimes, but other times they are rude and dismissive. The doctors don't listen to what I am saying. They spend little time just to bill my insurance and say I was there. The Langone in Manhattan is wonderful, but it's too far for me to travel. The best one that I have encountered is Natalie; she is wonderful. She will go above and beyond. She is very respectful and makes sure that I am heard. There's this particular doctor; he needs to retire. He's a very old-school type of medicine doctor. I was telling him about new studies and research pertaining to my health; he didn't want to hear about any of that. Lol 😆 It's time for me to see another doctor. I will miss Natalie.

Waited months for this appt with Dr. Strizhak as I have a known history of intracranial hypertension. During my visit, which I waited months for I told him my symptoms and despite confirming with my records that I’ve had that condition he told me it’s probably sleep or anxiety and that I need that controlled. I then was sent for an MRI the next week that indicated I have a cephalocele inMeckel’s cave area of my brain. A cephalocele at Meckel’s cave — meaning brain tissue or fluid herniating into that space — is a recognized finding associated with chronic elevated intracranial pressure (ICP). The radiologist even wrote “in the setting of chronic elevated intracranial pressure” and called for clinical correlation. When I told him I now am having severe jaw pain, he told me to see a dentist which studies show that this kind of jaw pain could be caused by radiating pain from the skull, which was my primary concern that he has completely dismissed. When I had a flareup of intracranial hypertension 13 years ago, I also wasn’t taking seriously and almost went blind. I surely hope that won’t happen again, and I will be seeking another opinion. I do not recommend this doctor at all.

I started my care with Dr. Levit and I loved it, she takes her time, listens and examined me; she was thorough and always very professional and kind. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a PCP. The staff was kind and besides it is a busy clinic, they are always trying their best to help. I would gladly come back.
