Dr. Gettenberg and the entire staff at this facility are EXCELLENT. My procedure was the same day as a major snow storm. For the staff at Bklyn Endoscopy, it was Monday. I won’t say I am looking forward to my next appointment (for obvious reasons), but with Dr. Gettenberg and his team, I know I am in good hands.

Front desk on first floor, lady yelled at me for being on the wrong line, there were 3 receptionists and me and one other person! She wanted me on first line, but you don’t speak like that in a professional setting…Gastroenterologist did not explain drug to me..told me to take it after endoscopy and I was groggy, when I met him three weeks later, he was in a hurry but as I was leaving in the hall he was talking to the patient before me! I had to scurry around.

This was one of the most positive medical experiences I’ve ever had (and that’s saying a lot cuz I was going for a colonoscopy lol). Everyone working here from the office staff to the nurses to Dr. Vozick are amazing. Directions for the prep were clear and easy to follow, the staff is so sweet and fun to talk to and I just really had a great experience today even tho I was anxious and super worried. They made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal (and it wasn’t). I highly recommend anyone looking for a GI doctor and a place to get any procedures to go with NYU Langone and Dr. Vozick’s staff

This review is specific to Carrie at the first floor Desk. Thank you for going above and beyond to help me attain copies of my own records. Was no easy task getting specific copies of some records via the app or records center. I got through to Carrie at 1630 east 14th street location who assured me she could help but that I would have to fill out forms first. Given I was on a very short timetable at this point I asked if there was any way we could get this done same day? She assured me she would email all of the required information and She advised which fields to complete and sent them over. Apparently my papers were grabbed by someone else at the office and when Carrie didn’t receive them she actually called me to double check to see if there were any issues!! Who does that? Needless to say- paperwork done, records received as promised in time for me to get them to where they had to be for my consultation. Thank you to Carrie and team- Jimmy and Alla. Above and beyond service today

The staff was kind but the facility feels like a factory for colonoscopies and endoscopies; You have a space as big as a twin bed with curtains for privacy to change and wait for your turn to be wheeled in; Very short time with a doctor before or after procedure; Results given while you are on the way out; Not enough time to think if you have questions as doctors seem booked back to back to back. If I had known better I would not have chosen this facility.
