I wish I could give a ten star. They are all very professional and friendly. I had a lot of problems with my last pair which everything was blurry. The new pair I just received are excellent and I see clearly now. I am so glad I found a professional eye Doctor and her professional team. Thank you Ocean Eye and in the future I will return. Meg

After taking two months last year to figure out how my insurance worked, this year won’t release my records to the DMV for me to renew DL because last eye exam was 14 months this ago. DMV states needs to have been within last 6 months. My insurance is out of network, so they want me to pay the out of network price for an eye exam to not hold them hostage any longer. I’ll just pay the $12.50 to renew my license in person and get the eye test there. That doesn’t make any sense.

This place *used* to be good. Then I was met with appointments being cancelled day-of, office times changing without warning on days I had appointments, getting unexplained bills, or bills for already paid items, doctors rotating out and leaving regularly, inconsistent care, and finally refusing to give me my glasses until I scheduled another appointment with them. I left this place over two years ago, and now I get automated calls almost daily that I need to schedule an appointment despite the fact that I asked to be removed from any contact lists, told them to not contact me, and told them explicitly that I do not intend to return. Whatever good this business had before is gone now and is only good for milking money out of people.

I had a wonderful first time experience at Ocean Eye off Dorchester Rd. Thank you Joy for ensuring my information was accurate and for the chocolate on my way out. To Tech Esther for helping me through my initial exams. Thanks to Dr. Simkin for the eye exam and going over everything with me today. Best experience ever. Thank you Sarah W. for your help with glasses. I highly recommend this awesome group of ladies. Very helpful to ensure all needs are met here. I look forward to many more visits.

The worst customer service I have seen in a long time. First time there, also my last. Went in about 1030am to buy some frames. I found the pair I wanted within 2 minutes. Then stood there for about 20 minutes waiting to talk to someone. Yes, one person was helping someone make their purchase, I’m not sure what the other workers were doing. Not one person said hi, or we will be with you shortly, or hey, let us know if you have a question. I just stood there holding the frames I wanted without even a hello. I just took down the brand/style name and left. Purchased them online (for probably) a lot less. Not sure. This is also one of those horrible places that won’t put a price on any frame. We are a family of 5 who all wear glasses, and they could have had a new set of customers, but we will continue to shop elsewhere.
