*Update: I was promptly contacted by the office the day after submitting my review and the person that called was very apologetic and helpful. Apparently, quite a few patients in a similarly urgent situation have made appointments here, as it seems to be the only optometry office in a wide area that has a reasonable wait time for an exam. I can understand that an influx of new patients has caused some service delays. I received my prescriptions via email about an hour after the phone call. Upon realizing that my contact prescription had expired and I was nearly out of contacts, I looked around for an optometrist that could renew my prescription quickly. This office, nearly 45 minutes from home, was the only one that could schedule me for an exam in just a couple of weeks (as opposed to nearly 3 months at every other office within a 50-mile radius). The doctor was very thorough in answering questions, but the exam came to $160, more than double what I paid for my previous exam at a different office. I was in a hurry to make it to another appointment and did not thoroughly check the paperwork that I was given as I left, which did not include a paper copy of my prescription, as it turned out. In the past several weeks, I have called the office six times, repeated my email address, and left several voice messages. I still have not received a copy of the prescription that I paid $160 for. It appears that I will need to spend the better part of an afternoon driving up there and back to pick up a piece of paper that could have easily been emailed to me, as I have requested multiple times now. Plan ahead and find a better optometry office with more reasonable pricing and better customer service.

They are polite and professional. Got my prescription right the first time. The gentleman who helped us with our glasses is very knowledgeable.
First time patient and I am so glad I scheduled here. From the moment I walked in the door, everyone I interacted with was pleasant, happy and welcoming. The doctor and her assistant were the best and explained everything to me including breaking down the price with my insurance to help me understand. I will definitely continue coming here and plan to bring my kids in as well. Thank you!
First off, the receptionist was pleasant and polite. The office building was clean and tidy. She then pointed me to the ladies frames while I was waiting to go back for my exam. I was lead back to the pre-test room by a lovely woman. When we were finished, she then escorted me to the exam room and set me up for Dr. D'Angelo to perform the exam. It was quick, painless, and professional. I was directed to the gentleman who works out costs based on insurance coverage, cost of frames, and lenses. I had found a pair that was exactly what I was looking for, and to my luck, they were on the sales rack! We worked it all out and the cost was so reasonable. I had a wonderful day because of this office. Highly recommend and I will be seeing them for my next exam.
✨👏✨WONDERFUL experience here, from start to finish☺ Everyone was professional, patient, personable, and knowledgeable during my appointment! Dr. Jamie D'Angelo, through clear, thorough explanations, did a stellar job in expertly diagnosing my eye issue then giving me effective eye drops in-office as well as recommending various other helpful eye drops and eye ointments, which I've purchased in stores locally or purchased conveniently via Amazon. Definitely will be getting glasses here in the future from their appealing array of frames. Another positive is the Vision Center's conveniently close proximity to diminutive yet bustling 🏞🏔🏞 New Cumberland, West Virginia / WV of Appalachia 🏞🏔🏞 Highly recommend👍
