I rarely write reviews, but given the situation I want to share my experience to raise the standards for this optic and help future customers understand what they’re actually receiving. I purchased these lenses less than six months ago and paid roughly $1,000 in total, with about $300 for these lenses alone. It took about two months to receive the order, and I’m still experiencing problems that nearly render the lenses unusable for no obvious reason. The lens material feels of very low quality, and the fitment to the frame is not properly proportioned as well with reflectiion and curve of the lense. I attached some picture. I feel really bad about this . The money I spend and time . + I have to get new glasses because with this one I can’t see properly. Art: what it appears to be scratching is just the lense alone cracking.

Great experience!! It was my 1st eye exam I was so nervous. I got Ashley as my tech and she did an amazing job she walked me through the whole exam and explained what each machine did and what they were looking for with the images. Dr.woods listened to me and made sure I got the prescription that worked for me. The staff is super friendly and joyful. I’m usually scared of doctor offices but this one is definitely one your family or yourself needs to have at the top of their list for eye care. Also they have a Spanish speaker and she’s amazing for my Hispanic community book now !

If you even go to Oman Eye Care (which I would recommend you don't) and have vision insurance coverage, insist upon a full eye exam (which includes the refractory). The no-charge exams offered by insurance companies will only cover complete exams, even if you only have the refractory portion. I had been to Duke Eye Center two months prior to visiting Oman (since I have a history of retinal detachment), so I explained to them that I probably didn't need the full exam. This obviously would have been redundant to what Duke had already done in much greater detail. The front desk NEVER indicated to me that unless I had the full exam, I would be responsible for the cost of refractory service and that insurance would not honor the claim. No one can convince me, with all the insurance claims they handle, that they did not know this fact. Instead, they just proceeded to do the refractory portion and then hit me with a $56 bill. I had emphasized in both scheduling the original exam and at the front desk that I desired ONLY the no-charge, in network service. So, Oman will get their $56 from me and lose a long-term customer who has spent thousands at their office. Any decent business, which respected long-term customer loyalty, would have absorbed the $56 and made sure the insurance process was clear for future visits. Talk about business short-sightedness! And, to make matters worse, the technician who performed the initial intake was as unfriendly and disengaged from her job as anyone I have ever met in all my years of having eye exams. Just an awful experience overall!

After reviewing the technician's eye exam results, Dr. Woods described my eye problems to me in a very professional and friendly manner. As he promised, a needed follow-up appointment with a different type of professional was arranged within a short time frame. I am positively impressed with Dr. Woods' knowledge, professionalism, and follow through.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This was for my teenage son. The initial exam was fine and the doctor was pleasant, but everything after that was very disappointing. We were told contact lenses would arrive in about 2 weeks and that they would call us to schedule training. After more than a month with no communication, I had to call myself. After the trial, my son was not comfortable with the daily contacts provided. When I asked about other options (monthly lenses or glasses), we were brushed off and told that was the only option. When I asked about seeing another specialist, I was told we could go for sure elsewhere—which we will be doing. Total waste of time and money. Would not recommend.
