Optica Express

I've been coming here (on/off) since 2015. Their staff , including some doctors, have changed over the years since I first started coming here as a patient. Regardless, I always feel like I'm part of a "family". They remember you, they're happy to see you, their prices are reasonable, and they take walk-in's (as long as doctor is there). In fact, I actually moved to different area of city a couple years ago and briefly used 2 different optometrists in the area; neither gave me the same level of quality service that I came to appreciate so much from Optica Express. So , now, I just make the trek back over here for routine visits and picking up my contacts - that alone should tell you something. I just wish I felt the same about my dentist 😩

This store is a classic in the area and I've gone here ever since I was a kid for my glasses. They are always going above and beyond to make sure I'm satisfied with my glasses, even though I always bring my own frames from elsewhere. Even months after the initial work is complete, I can always come back with my glasses and they'll fix them right up for me, and they are always straight with me about the features will work for me and what will not; it's hard to find that kind of attention elsewhere. Make sure you are following common sense and check with your own insurance to see what is covered and what isn't. They will break the entire cost for you down in detail and will offer you the best recommendations for what works for you, but they also aren't magicians!

I visited Optica Express on the morning of March 13 and had such an incredible experience that I felt compelled to write a review. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. The atmosphere was warm, organized, and very professional. The three staff members—Angie, Maribel, and Jennifer—were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, attentive, and took the time to answer my questions without ever making me feel rushed. It’s rare to find a team where everyone is so kind and professional, and they truly made the visit smooth and enjoyable. My appointment was with Dr. Solanky, and I can honestly say she is one of the best eye doctors I’ve ever met. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. She explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable throughout the exam, and took the time to address all of my concerns. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. Overall, this was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. The entire team went above and beyond, and I left feeling very satisfied with my visit. Highly recommend this office if you’re looking for excellent eye care and outstanding service. Exceptional service every time, I’ve been coming here since the age of 7 years old when I got my first pair of glasses. I always make it my business to give them my business when it’s time for new glasses. Shout out to the staff and new manager I appreciate the knowledge on lenses, truly a staple to the neighborhood !
