Excellent first visit! My husband and I arrived early to fill out forms. Very thorough. They explained our coverage for their services, did several different eye tests then helped us choose our new glasses. Delivery between 2-3 weeks. Very professional, organized and saw several people stop in for a quick glasses adjustment. We have found our new optometry office within walking distance from our home.
We’ve been patients here for over five years, and even though we live in the East Bay, we keep coming back because of the excellent care and service. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Dr. Michael and Dr. Christian Chew are knowledgeable, take the time to answer all of our questions, and make every visit a great experience. They also use modern equipment for thorough eye exams. Highly recommend!
I'm very happy that I've finally found an eye doctor with fast, patient and friendly staff so close to home. Their modern office is where the South City car wash used to be for you old timers. They also have a great selection of frames including Shillouettes which are pricey and you'll forget you're wearing them. A lot of places don't carry them. I also like Oakley brand and have multiple pairs for different specific tasks. The exam is thorough and Dr. Chew listens to my concerns and specific needs. I like and trust him.
New customer here! It had been three years since my last eye exam, so I wanted to ensure I chose the right optometry. After finding this location on Google, I decided to give it a shot, and it turns out I picked the perfect spot. While I didn't catch everyone's names, the experience was seamless. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and proactive with check-in. Dr. Chew was fantastic—very professional and thorough. He took the time to ensure the prescription was exactly right and had a great, friendly energy. The Optician was also a standout. I am admittedly very picky and take a long time to choose frames, but the Optician remained patient throughout the entire process. The selection here is impressive, and even though I have very specific tastes that aren't always met by designer brands, the Optician was incredibly thoughtful. This team member took the time to explain the costs clearly, ensuring everything covered by insurance was understood. 10/10 experience—I’ll definitely be back!
My oldest has been coming here for a few years now and I just brought my youngest in for the first time recently. The staff are always so nice and pleasant. Dr. C. Chew is always patient with my many questions and explains everything clearly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an optometry office.
