Optical Expressions Berlin

I have been a patient of optical expressions for well over 10 years, along with my daughter. These folks are absolutely amazing!!! Dr. Leipert is a GEM!!! He is so down to earth and super knowledgeable! He never makes you feel rushed and willingly answers any and all questions and concerns. (I’ve had some vision changes, dry eye, etc during menopause.) His suggestions have been so helpful! The staff truly make this place! They are all SUPER kind, friendly; and helpful, especially Will! They have so many gorgeous, fashion forward frames, as well as sunglasses . I can be a little tough on frames, and I love that they fix and adjust your frames *anytime!!* If you’re looking for a new eye doctor, look no further. I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed !!! These folks are the best around, by far!!!

I've purchased my frames and lenses from Optical Expressions ever since I transitioned away from wearing contact lenses, which was more than 2 decades ago. Their selection of frames is impressive! My "rough and tumble" lifestyle has frequently brought me back to Optical Expressions, whenever the frames have been bent or whenever a tiny screw has come out and has disappeared. (Hint: a strong magnet can easily locate the tiniest of screws.) When I go to Optical Expressions after trauma to the frames from "rollovers" or being stepped on, the staff does not ask me who I am. They fix the problem and send me on my way. I have personally witnessed people traveling through Vermont on a road trip and needing this same kind of repair, and they were also afforded the same no-cost service--even when their frames had been purchased elsewhere. Walk-ins are easily accommodated because Optical Expressions is well-staffed. When Optical Expressions thinks my frames are beyond repair, then they ask me who I am, and they bring up my history. Oftentimes, the frames have still been under warranty, so I have walked out with new frames at no cost to me! I am grateful for the service I get from Optical Expressions, and I'm going to keep coming back.

I’ve been coming here for years for eye exams and glasses. Dr. Hartnett is thorough and takes her time explaining everything. Also they always provide outstanding customer service on the glasses side of the house. Great example of an excellent local shop!

Just...wow! I'm so impressed with my experience at Optical Expressions. I called to ask if they were accepting new patients, and to my surprise, I was added onto their schedule the very next day due to a cancellation. (Talk about luck!) Every member of the staff was extremely pleasant and professional. Dr. Hartnett had wonderful bedside manner and was very easy to converse with, along with clearly being an expert in her field. Tim helped me pick out my new frames out of their wide variety of inventory, and it was the fastest, easiest experience I've ever had in this process. (He definitely has an eye for the face/frame aesthetic!) Then to top it all off, he said they could have my lenses ready in about 30 minutes. After all was said and done, I was walking out of there sporting my new pair of glasses less than 24 hours after my initial phone call. (!!!) I understand this is likely a rare experience due to the cancellation on the schedule, but STILL! I'm so happy to be a new patient at Optical Expressions and look forward to continuing my eyecare with them for many years to come.
