The absolute worst experience post exam. My glasses took nearly a month, after being given every excuse in the book. Including, well your prescription is so high it takes longer. I was continuously told a date to expect and was never met. I finally got the glasses after an unkind call to them. 30 mins later. They are done. I go to pickup, the glasses are the WRONG frame. (The guy was all, oh I love this frame) ok, they aren’t tok bad. They don’t do the right lenses, so now my lenses look like Mr magoo, and no ant glare. …. I’ll Go back to Walmart vision Center. 2 stars for the Dr. The lady who did my pre tests.

Had an exam, paid for glasses to be made. Under their guidance my insurance was covering part of the cost, I then paid the rest of what they calculated. 4 weeks go by I call to check on eyeglasses. Told they would check and call me back. No return call. I call again. I’m told the eyeglasses were paused on being made with no communication to me due to insurance not covering part of the cost. It was told to me what to pay further to have them made. He said he has everything for the glasses to be made. There was no call to me to pay the cost to get these finished. Terrible process, went back and forth to argue it’s not their responsibility to know the coverages of an individuals insurance. If I never called they would never have called to say pay more or never get glasses made is what it appears. Never given paper copy of prescription. Had to ask when I just came and got this resolved. I’m waiting needing these. I explained to her during exam I was wearing old ones since last years broke. She even admitted the last ones were too strong- she is the one who prescribed them. They calculated the amount I paid for them and didn’t do the insurance coverage part diligence - I don’t work there . Careless. The other thing is they talk about customers as soon as they wait to be seen and as soon as they exit, if they have something to say it’s loud, I heard them talk about someone and their child and I heard them talking about me before my visit a month ago. Just nasty behavior. they should ask themselves how would I have known the calculated portion to pay for glasses? If the insurance didn’t even cover any of it that was their job to calculate not mine no matter how they won’t try to flip it.
I had an amazing and very knowledgeable visit today at optical fashion… I have been to optical fashion before, but this time was different… The doctor listened to me but asked me more questions than any other eye doctor did in the past. She explained things thoroughly. She’s down to Earth and she’s just gonna tell you how it is. She has great best side manners.… I have learned more today from this eye doctor today and I mean things that has never been explained to me the way she did. She is my new eye doctor… Things I thought were wrong. I was wrong about because even if I didn’t ask the Wright questions she did and she gave the right answers to them.
The eye doctor was nice. It was good service there but the process of getting the glasses it's crazy. I took my little boy June 1st for the eye exam I just now called on July 15th to see if they came in yet and I get told that they just put the order in for the glasses July 9th .why wait 5 weeks after the visit and put the order in why not put them in the same day you have your eye visit.
Our old eye doctor no longer accepted our insurance so it was a first time coming. Had a great experience! For me and my 7 year old daughter both. Very thorough eye exam and happy with our new set of glasses for us both and the services from everybody.
