Optical Outlets – Sarasota (University Pkwy)

I've been very happy going here for eyeglass and contacts prescription for the past year. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It's in a nice plaza in a safe area and the store is always clean. They have a great selection on glasses and contacts. Dr. Durante is a wonderful optometrist, he has me seeing 20/20 vision now...no more squinting! This place is great, especially if you have vision insurance. Thanks again for a very positive experience!

Both of my kids had eye exams with Dr. Durante and he was great - efficient and answered all of my questions. He made it easy. Leslie was also amazing at helping us pick out and order our frames and lenses. She went above and beyond to help my fashionable 7 year old daughter find the exact shape/style she was looking for. : )

I had a great experience at Optical Outlet thanks to Leslie Rodriguez. She helped me with both my glasses and contacts and took the time to explain everything clearly. She went over my insurance with me, helped me understand the best options for my glasses, and made the whole process feel easy instead of stressful. She also explained the different screenings they do and what they are for, like checking eye pressure and other tests, which I really appreciated because I like knowing what’s being done and why. She was patient, kind, and really knowledgeable. Overall, Leslie made the entire visit smooth and comfortable. If you’re going to Optical Outlet, I definitely recommend asking for her.
