Optical World

I went in to get my eyes exam in December- i get told to see an Ophthalmologist for more testing because resources are limited there. Fine- I appreciate the honesty. I get trial contact lenses & I’m told by Dr. Javier that she will place the order right away, that they are in back order so it might take a few weeks. Now tomorrow is the first day of April, when i call in, I’m told that an order was NEVER placed. Don’t come here, even Cohen’s at the mall is far superior. The doctor may be friendly, but they charge more than other Optometrist office even WITH insurance. They are grossly incompetent & their tech is highly outdated.

My husband and I agree, this location is very good. They greeted us as we came through the door and treated us very kindly. Dr. Rina is very thorough with each exam. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We definitely recommend this location.

Dr Javier and the staff at Optical World have been my eye care go-to for many years and have always been professional, friendly and readily available for appointments. It’s a retail location and can get quite busy at times, but in my 20+ visits, the practice has always been well staffed. Highly recommend!

Great customer service starting with the receptionist! The Dr is wonderful she explains everything and doesn’t make you fell rushed. The whole office staff is nice! Definitely recommend this office!

Better than LensCrafters, Optical World is awesome! Optical World has a caring and professional staff. I am disabled and they were very accommodating. I was nervous but they made me feel comfortable. All of their staff were very sweet. Unlike Lens Crafters. That’s where I originally booked. But once I told them I was disabled they called the day before my appt to let me know they were canceling my appointment because they’re facility could not cater to disabled patients. I told them I could leave my wheelchair with my son, who could drop me off there at the door (they’re located in the Treasure Coast Mall) and I could walk the very short distance to the doctor’s in the back of the store. In the end they still refused to treat me to a simple contact fitting. They held on to their discrimination and refused to see me using this as their excuse. However Optical World is awesome! Moving forward I will be going to Optical World for all my vision needs.
