Opticore Optometry Group – Buena Park

I received their ad in the mail. Went and paid to have an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. Tried on the glasses and they were blurry. The doctor asked me to try them for another day. I went home, and called after a day to let them know the glasses were still blurry. They said try a few more days. After a few more days I called and explained the glasses were still blurry. They said try them for another two weeks. After two weeks the glasses were still blurry, but life happened and I didn't get back to them until after their 100 day return policy expired. They refused to correct the blurry glasses in any way since it was past 100 days. Unfortunately, I can't use the eye exam info anywhere else because it's not good. Besides all the wasted time, I lost 118 for the exam and 246 for the glasses.

The ENTIRE staff was the most helpful I’ve ever had! I had my same optometrist for 30 years, who I loved, and I was so worried I wouldn’t find another place that would I love to go to again when he retired. Well I FOUND IT HERE, at Buena Park VISIONWORKS, and you would too! The pre prep exam with Jacob went GREAT, very friendly during the whole prep. The eye Dr took his time to be so thorough with me during my eye exam, explaining every important detail, as well as answer any questions I had. It was a great exam! Then on to finding my frames. Their selection is awesome, I was not rushed at all. I chose so many styles till I found 3 perfect ones. Kristelle was so fun, attentive, thorough, suggestive with all options to create 3 AMAZING pairs of glasses. I chose 2 regular ones and chose sunglasses for my 3rd pair. Christina was so friendly and helpful during the fitting as well, also offering options to fulfill my needs. Had a small issue with my FSA, and Briana helped me out the next day to take care my needs to resolve my issue. She made sure I had everything I needed! I picked up my 3 pairs order today, and I even enjoyed every minute of that part too being at this VISIONWORKS location. Believe me, I will be recommending this location to everyone I know who needs glasses, and I will come back- I found my new optometrist location! Their AWESOME service throughout the whole process will leave customers VERRY HAPPY like they all did for me! Thank you everyone!! I’ve visited this establishment 4 times, and unfortunately, each experience felt unwelcoming. The receptionists at the front on their phones are always on their phones which is pretty unprofessional not something I love walking into, and when I am talking to one then the receptionist, the other one’s just on their phone looking miserable, and I’ve never received much of a greeting or felt acknowledged upon arrival. No one was rude, but the environment didn’t feel warm or inviting. Overall, it’s not somewhere I would choose to return to.

Kristelle Mouris and the team were able to quickly repair my glasses in a bit of an emergency for me. A customer of Visionworks in Nebraska, I was so glad they could help me out with repairs in less than an hour! Thanks much everyone 👍

Dr Nguyen was the best eye doctor I’ve been to in the 40 years I’ve worn glasses. He really listened and didn’t take ‘good enough’ as an answer. I was not rushed and felt listened to. Office staff is top tier! There’s lots of glasses to choose from and found several I liked.
