Unfortunately, I had a very frustrating experience at this office. At my first appointment, I spent over an hour for my eye exam and was charged $130. I specifically asked if that was for the exam and was told yes, only to find out afterward that the charge was actually for the retinal exam and for trial contacts. I told them I would not have taken the trial contacts if I knew I was being charged for them, but I never received a response. I was then required to come back the following week for a contact fitting that had already been done at my first appointment, causing me to be late to work twice in one week. I was also notified that my charge from the first visit was not for the trial contacts. They refused to prescribe my contacts without the second visit. Afterward, when I called to order them, I was told they didn't even have my prescription on file. When I decided I didn't like the dailies and asked about weekly contacts, I was told I would need to come back again just to receive a trial of the weekly lenses before I could order them. There were also issues with documentation. I signed a form requesting that my receipts and documents be emailed to me, but they were apparently sent to an old email address, and I never received the receipts or documentation at all. Finally, I was quoted a six-month contact price that included a rebate that was not properly explained. I later learned there were multiple steps/hoops required to actually receive the rebate, meaning the actual cost was significantly higher than I initially thought. After all of the time, multiple appointments, tardiness to work, and confusion, I ultimately decided to order my contacts online. I'm now getting them without insurance for about one-third of the cost I was quoted through this office and in 3-5 business days versus two weeks. Overall, the lack of communication, organization, and transparency throughout this process was extremely disappointing. I expected much better based on the reviews of this office.

I have some mixed feelings about this place. The people were very nice, but I did not ask about pricing for non-insurance and was honestly shocked at the $943 bill at the end. Two of my close friends recommended the place so I’m assuming they have vision insurance. I’ve never had glasses and hadn’t been to an optometrist since I was like 12 years old, so I was definitely new to this process and feel as though I did not ask the right questions. None of the frames had price tags, so I would definitely recommend asking about pricing before you try them on. Seeing the optometrist was about $200 (makes sense. she was absolutely amazing!), but the frames were approximately $700, and I was told that the frames I saw to select from were the only options to purchase. Also, I’m not sure what my prescription is still so I couldn’t purchase glasses online or elsewhere. I just wish I asked the right questions and would recommend that if you go here you ask about pricing beforehand! I understand that all of my issues with this place come from my own ignorance, which is why I’m rating it 4 stars, but I also think I would have benefited from more patient education/transparency when I first arrived for this appointment to prevent my shock at the expensive bill at the end when I couldn’t have backed out.
