Went here for a few years. Some of the employees are great to deal with, some not. For instance I far prefer Jackie for fitting/selection than her co-worker who constantly seems abrupt and annoyed. Receptionists same crap shoot. The reason for the one star however is twofold. 1. Their new (about a year or so) policy that requires patients during your annual exam to get a $45 retinal scan that isn’t covered by insurance. I have no history of cataracts or glaucoma or any other indicator yet they refuse to waive this requirement. Including for my children. They tried to imply this was an industry standard, it is not. They like to call it their standard of care, but I called several other providers in my VSP network and they don’t require it. It seems to be an arbitrary and unnecessary test specific to this provider. 2. Their refusal to provide the pupillary distance. They implied this is specific to the glasses selected. Yet again other providers have no problem providing this when you get your prescription. They lost 4 patients over these ridiculous policies . If you wish to go here, please confirm these aspects before scheduling.

Moved here a year ago , needed to find a new eye doctor... has a fine experience, got my glasses. Months into wearing them, screw came out, my lens popped out. Weird, ok then happened again. They ordered new lenses using my warranty... One month in same thing happened. They refused to do anything....Want to charge me $30.00 to replace this mess. Horrible Customer service zero ten would not recomend. Don't we all want to spend a $1000 for our glasses to fall apart, And look like this? NO, we do not.

These people gone tell me it's mandatory to get a retinal exam like I just started wearing glasses. I dont have hypertension or diabetes, so why. They also want you to pay out of pocket for this exam

I visited Oracle a few months ago after trying two different optometry offices in Toledo that I did not love. I loved it here! The front desk staff are so warm and kind. One thing that stood out about my exam was how much the doctor went out of his way to tell me all the positive things about my eye health, and also to explain to me what I was looking at when the images were on the screen. A fun time for me as a curious person. When it was time to pick my glasses, the opticians were very patient while I tried on almost everything in the store, and kindly obliged me when I asked for their input on my fashion choices. Thank you to this entire office!

The optometrist was very nice. However I clearly stated multiple times (when I made the appointment and when I was there) that all I wanted was a refractory exam. They still charged me 45 dollars for the refraction and 165 dollars for "comprehensive exam." If they weren't willing to provide just the refraction exam, they should have told me upfront and I would have gone elsewhere.
