First I must say this Office was amazing. I read the reviews and it definitely helps if you familiarize yourself with your vision policy. But when I made my initial call this was the only office that had a voicemail for after hours calls. Called me back and continued with excellent communication. They listened to my husband's needs and didn't not try to over sell him on things he didn't need. We were even more excited to hear how quick the turn around on getting glasses in-hand would be. Our previous office a swanky downtown Bend location could never get glasses back in less that 3-4 weeks.

I had one of the worst experiences at this office. I went in to request my daughter’s medical records and was told by the woman at the front desk that I would have to pay the balance due for contacts before they would release them. I explained that refusing to release medical records due to a balance is against both state and federal law. She insisted, very confidently, that “this is how it is in all medical fields,” which made me question myself for a moment. At this point, it wasn't about the money, but legal rights to records. I returned with a copy of the Oregon State law (ORS) and the federal HIPAA Act, along with a formal written request, to show them they were violating the law. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the front desk person became angry and told me that “this means nothing.” It took the eye doctor stepping in to order her to release the records. Instead of apologizing, the doctor told me I need to find another provider—simply because I stood up for my rights and for others who might be misled. This clinic is not only unprofessional and rude, but also willing to withhold records illegally. Why wouldn’t they want to know their staff is breaking state and federal law? Patients deserve honesty and ethical treatment, not intimidation and misinformation. I will never return and strongly caution others before trusting their care here.

Cheryl at Oregon Vision Center has been amazing. I ordered Meta Ray-Bans with prescription transition lenses, and the first pair showed up with loose lenses. That didn’t sit right with Cheryl and she took care of it right away, sent them back, and made sure I got a brand new pair. Totally hassle-free. I ended up ordering a second pair to take advantage of some insurance benefits, and she was just as helpful. Even let me text her questions throughout the process. She’s thorough, easy to talk to, and fun. I even got to show her a few videos I made using the Meta glasses. Awesome experience overall. The office itself is small and could use an update, but honestly, the doctor I work with and Cheryl’s support are what really matter.

Fantastic Dr. and office staff here in Redmond. I’m so pleased with the knowledge of the office staff, and the Dr. was X10 fantastic! We are so pleased with the friendliness, the home environment feel there. They eye Dr. is so thorough with explaining your diagnosis, in a kind friendly, experienced manner. I can’t thank him enough! I will always recommend this office to EVERYONE!

Outstanding! Personable, professional. NO phone trees, push this button to get to this , an actual person!!! that speaks English!!! Appointment made with ease and my needs NOT three months down the road. If I could give 10 stars I would.
