Palos Verdes Family Vision Optometry

I've been a patient at PVFV Optometry for many years now and my visits have always been delightful! I always feel comfortable and well-taken care of throughout my appointment. From when I first walked in being warmly welcomed by Abree, to having my nerves calmed when having my eyes tested by Jennifer, then being seen by the wonderful Dr. Rebecca, and ordering my new pair of glasses through Michelle (who was incredibly kind and patient with me while I tried on a dozen pair of glasses), my recent annual visit was nothing short of professional and wonderful. I'm grateful that my vision care is in the hands of a team that truly cares for my comfort and the health of my eyes.

We had a great experience! Miguel was so nice and helpful at the front desk! April was so friendly and thorough doing the pretest! Dr. Terry was amazing! She performed the most complete exam and spent so much time explaining my husband’s eyes and diagnosis! Michelle was super kind and patient and helped us find a wonderful pair of glasses! Can’t recommend this practice enough!

Date of visit - May 5, 2026 Whole front office staff were welcoming, greeting me warmly. Abree in particular was very pleasant. Pretest was done by Erin, she introduced herself and clearly explained step by step the different tests being conducted. Dr. Jim as usual was very cordial, greeted me warmly and we had a nice conversation. He made me feel comfortable and addressed my questions and concerns. Overall, my visit was exceptionally positive.

Dr. Kathleen is amazing. She takes the time to understand the patient. Very kind and caring. I wasn’t rushed. Very thorough exam and great eye care advice. I was greeted and checked in by Abree—super nice and makes you feel at home. Then Erin did a whole bunch of testing—very pleasant testing that is comfortable. I felt that Erin was very good in explaining each test to me. The facility is all modern as well. Dr. Kathleen went over all the tests, checked to see how my current glasses were doing, and answers ALL my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Kathleen and her entire staff.
