Paragon Eye Associates

I recently visited Dr. Michael Blair at Paragon Eye Associates for a cataract surgery consultation. This was my first time in the office, and I was impressed by how quickly I was seen. The nurse conducted a thorough and methodical exam, followed by Dr. Blair, who took his time to carefully review everything with me. We clearly discussed all aspects of the procedure and efficiently finalized the surgical details in one seamless appointment. The staff was professional and well-organized, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I’m very pleased with both Dr. Blair and Paragon Eye Associates so far.

The testing process prior to seeing the doctor was efficient and pleasant. Unfortunately, however, when I raised my severe allergy to what would be a post-surgical eye drop, the only answer Dr Ford gave was that there is no alternative, and that if I came in for a post-op with my eyes red due to underuse of the drop, he would simply have me use it even more frequently to address the inflammation. (I perceived he was annoyed and/or unbelieving). Of course I could not have my surgery with him, and when I subsequently went to Ighani Eye Care, Dr Ighani explained how the drops enter the body from the eye, and how I can very simply keep that from happening. Very disappointing.

Love the doctors and staff at Paragon! Dr. Fontenot is a wonderful doctor! Caring, personable and SO amazing! I highly recommend them to everyone for all your eye care needs! At that time I also had slightly higher eye pressure. But my recent follow-up checking of my vision, my eye pressure and vision field test at their clinic, everything turned out perfectly. I have 20/20 vision, good vision field test results, normal eye pressures without glaucoma.
