Where have I been? I've passed this location for 10 years! It is a jewel! I will not consider another option when Dr. Theresa Cooperider, optometrist, is providing care.
When I saw either of the Drs Cooperrider, this place was fantastic! Had to use another doctor because Dr Cooperrider wasn’t available. Had the same routine eye exam I’ve had every year for over a decade. They did absolutely nothing different than usual. They billed my insurance for multiple services that I was unaware of, were not disclosed at the time of service and additional to the usual eye exam that I was there for. My insurance pays 100% of a normal eye exam every year and up to $150 for new glasses. All I have to pay is a $35 copay. This time? I get a bill for $198 after my insurance has been billed over $2000. Cleveland Clinic is not answering why they billed me for things I did not request or approve. I will never be back and will not recommend them to anyone. Also - they did the same thing with my husbands appointment the same day, but billed slightly fewer undisclosed and unapproved services. His bill after insurance is $58. He won’t be back either.
Hubby was called back within 5 mins of our arrival. Lady who helps order glasses was a sweetheart, nurse and Doctor were great! Will be going back for my glasses next!
Wow wow wow. If I could give more stars I would. My experience with them started when I spoke to the male receptionist (forgot his name) but he was the best. Then at the office, the nurses and the other receptionists were awesome. They call you by your first name in a way that makes you feel like your a friend. It's really a nice feeling. Then the doctor is so nice. He takes time with you and NEVER made me feel rushed. He called my eye problem a"birthday event" rather than saying it was because I was getting older. I so recommend this office in a big way. Loved my experience with them.
This place is awesome. Super nice doctor. Took their time. Let's get this place some more business!
