This was my first eye exam in the US and I had a wonderful experience here. Dr. Chu was kind and professional, and he identified my astigmatism, which had not been detected in my previous eye exams. The pricing was transparent, and the staff were very patient and willing to work with my insurance to make sure my benefits were fully utilized. I highly recommend this clinic.
I had a fantastic experience during my visit today! The technician who did my pre-testing was incredibly warm, patient, and made the dreaded puff-of-air test completely smooth and easy. Dr. Chu was thorough, professional, and made the entire eye exam seamless from start to finish. Afterward, Glenda, the optical manager, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly while guiding me through options. This office truly provides consultative, tailored, and honest care without any pressure. I strongly recommend Parkside to anyone looking for top-tier eye care.
Dr. Chu has done a great job with both our kids! We took our son in after a failed vision screening from our pediatrician at four. He loves his first glasses and had a great first eye exam experience! Dr Chu was also our daughter’s first eye doctor at 2.5 years old and he was super patient. Glad to find a provider the whole family can go to together.
Dr. Chu and the staff are consummate professionals and I highly highly recommend a visit! Also free parking in Mueller and kid friendly! The office has a welcoming, warm vibe like they are welcoming family. I 100% trust Dr. Chu with my eyesight and my family’s eyesight. Dr. Chu is knowledgeable, very accurate and precise in explaining medical eye terms, and has excellent bedside manners - he handled one situation with my young daughter where she was so desperately wanting to get glasses that she lied on her eye test. Dr. Chu kindly let me know in a non-judgmental way that her tests were inconsistent, aka lying. 🤣😅. We decided to get her the glasses anyway without a prescription knowing we would have a good story to tell her later when she was older. I still remember Dr. Chu’s powerful, rare, and kind demeanor to this day.
After 15+ years with my previous optometrist, I was hesitant to switch, but I’m so glad I did! My visit to Parkside Family Vision exceeded my expectations. Dr. Chu took the time to walk me through all of my options and made sure I was completely satisfied with my prescription before moving forward.
