UPDATE: Today was a completely different experience thanks to Dr. Segall Scott. He personally ensured everything was done well, including the front desk follow-up. He also provided a referral for another specialist, ensuring no gaps in my mother's care. It’s rare to find a doctor who takes this much prompt, personal action to correct a bad situation. Thank you, Dr. Segal Scott and team! OLD REVIEW: While the doctors here are amazing, the front desk and management are incredibly incompetent. My mother has been a patient for over 6 months, but today's visit was a disaster. We drove an hour in heavy traffic and called ahead to say we were running late; they told us they’d push the appointment by 30 mins. We arrived, signed in, and waited another full hour. During that hour, we sat there listening to the receptionist complain to her colleague about how she ‘couldn’t wait to leave already.’ Only when we finally checked on the status after an hour of waiting did she tell us they couldn't see my mother because a prior auth was missing. This was a follow-up appointment scheduled 3 months in advance during her last visit—they had more than enough time to check for this, or at the very least, tell us when we called or checked in. When confronted, she just said, ‘I don’t know what to tell you.’ We drove 2 hours round-trip for nothing. We went straight to the PCP to fix the referral, only to find out the PCP never received a single progress note or diagnosis from this office in the 6 months she’s been a patient! When we called back to fix this, the receptionist simply said, ‘we’ll send it when we send it.’ They have zero respect for patients' time or health.
