I have been coming to this office for years, and so has my family. I have a lot of respect for the doctors here and have always appreciated the care we’ve received, which is why this experience was so disappointing. On May 20, 2026, I called the office around 3:30 PM to ask if there was availability for both myself and my daughter to be seen, and also to check if we were due for eye exams. The receptionist explained that they take walk-ins until 4:30 PM and told me to let her know when I arrived. When I got there with my daughter standing beside me, I informed the receptionist that we had arrived. She told me to “fill out YOUR information,” so naturally I only wrote my own name on the clipboard. We then waited about 40 minutes. During that time, another woman arrived with her three children, and a male employee clearly instructed her to write both her name and her children’s names down. As soon as I heard that, I immediately tried to add my daughter’s name, but I was then told it was too late, that the other family would be seen first, and that my daughter would only be seen afterward if there was still time available. I truly feel this situation was caused by a miscommunication from the receptionist. Had I been given the same clear instructions as the other patient, this could have easily been avoided. What made the experience more upsetting was the lack of acknowledgment or apology. When I tried speaking with her afterward, I felt dismissed, as she would turn her back to me instead of addressing my concerns professionally. Again, I respect the doctors and have had many positive experiences here over the years, which is why I hope this feedback is taken constructively. Better communication and customer service at the front desk would make a huge difference.
