Pediatric Eyecare Of North Texas - Plano

I never write reviews, but I'm taking the time to do so. My son had a freak accident involving his eye. I called 3 different eye doctors. No one could see him that day. The last one gave me the name of Pediatric Eyecare of North Texas. I called, explained the situation, & they were able to squeeze him in. Dr. Hana Alsoudi examined his eye thoroughly. She gave this anxious momma peace of mind. She was a true professional. ❤️ Thanks so much!

Great with kids! The doctor, Assistant & desk staff are all so very friendly, helpful & professional. My children had their very first eye exams here & it was a good experience for them.

I was charged $375 for what I believed was a routine eye exam for my son. I expressed plenty to the assistant and doctor that we had no concerns with my son’s eyes. We were there simply for routine eye exam. They never disclosed what the estimated costs were upfront. I was apparently charged for “extra” tests. They don’t bother to tell you or ask if they can do these additional “tests” as well. After speaking with the office manager - she claims a “comprehensive” eye exam is pretty much standard for my son at his age. She made it seem as if this is same case whichever eye doc I go to. The front desk lady tried to make it sound better by saying- It will go towards my insurance deductible. She had a guilty look like they do this all the time and hope not to get questioned by patients. Don’t come here as they will do all sorts of unneeded “tests” and not ask you. Shadiness in not disclosing pricing upfront if it won’t be covered by insurance.

Dr. Alex is one of the most caring and knowledgeable pediatric eye doctors we’ve ever seen. Before coming to this office, we visited several other doctors, but none compared to the level of care we received here. The entire staff—from the front desk to the nurses—is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Her team truly makes both parents and children feel comfortable and cared for. We are so grateful to have found this office and highly recommend Dr. Alex and her team.

Both Dr. Alex and Dr. Kumar have been so amazing to work with! My daughter is a Micropremie who has eye muscle issues and WE LOVE this clinic and the whole staff! They care about her care so much! And a re patient in explaining everything!
