Over the last three years I have had the worst experience with trying to buy new glasses. Don’t get me wrong I have purchased six new pairs in that time, all lovely but couldn’t see out of any of them. Every time I tried to explain I got the same answer “They are exactly to your prescription you just need to get use to them” I meet David Weinstein and the staff at PerSpectacles only after much arm twisting by this wife. After a rather interesting phone conversation we set an appointment and he asked me to bring the glasses I had referred to with me. So I did all six pairs. After what I felt was the most thorough eye exam I had ever had, I was more than curious at this point. David came back in looked me straighten the eyes and said you’re absolutely correct, there is no way you can see out of any of these glasses. He then explained out of six pair of glasses done by three different companies know two pair had the same prescription in them. We then sat down and decided which of the six frames were my favorite, which were my second favorite and my third. Understand all of the frames were still like brand new I had never worn any of them because I couldn’t see out of them. When all was said and done I wound up with a brand new pair of progressive that also doubled as sunglasses. Second pair also Progressive and the third pair strictly reading glasses. The real beauty in all of this was how they did the lenses, I have never seen anyone who was able to give me as much actual viewing space out of a progressive lens as they did. I truly would recommend this company to anybody and will never go anywhere else. I sent them a card that simply said “Thank you for letting me see again.” Liz
