The receptionist by far is the rudest individual I have encountered to date.. The doctor is also unwilling to allow me to order any contacts other than one brand you put on my prescription… I explained I’ve been wearing contacts for over 20 years. I’ve never had a doctor. Tell me I’m not allowed to order different brands. Said I’m only allowed to have one particular kind. I tried to explain right now. I need to get the less costly dailies at the moment until I can afford to get others…. The receptionist got very nasty with me. Told me to go back to my old eye doctor use my four year old prescription if I didn’t like it…… I’m just trying to get contacts so I can see there is absolutely no reason for them to deny me my contacts when the company called… this is gatekeeping. I’m not gonna order my contacts through them. I am ordering online where I always have 20 years. I’ve never ran into this….. I don’t appreciate being called ignorant the ignorance in this situation is the way this female spoke to me. If this is how they treat patients I see why I was highly encouraged to not go there.

I was scheduled for an appointment in June. I called in to change the appointment. I got an appointment for May but then I got a nasty message saying I still had to come in June that the person who changed your appointment had no legal right to change my appointment. I asked for a call back and no one will return my call now when I call my number is blocked and who ever Meredith is needs to be fired , got a rude voicemail from her
Had an exam earlier in the year had questions about contacts call to ask to have the doctor to call me back they refuse. All they want. Is you to come in and pay for an exam to ask questions I always been able to have an eye doctor call me back and answer questions definitely would never go back to here. Called one day was told the doctor would call me back called the next morning to ask why the doctor didn’t call me back and was Told the only way I could talk to a doctor was making an appointment that I had to for
When I decided I had to do something about the poor eyesight I was experiencing, especially when driving at night, I went to Google and discovered Pisgah Hearing and Vision. I am so fortunate I did. Dr. Reames found serious cataract issues. Rather than recommend a new prescription and set of glasses, she referred me to the eye expert, Dr. Duggan (Wake Forest and Duke grad) at Carolina Opthamology, who surgically removed the cataracts in both eyes and successfully addressed my eyesight issues. I can't thank Dr. Reames enough for this. Her assistant, Meredith, also was kind, considerate, and super efficient. The ladies at the adjoining eyeglass center were also well informed and helpful, letting me know about the Blue Cross "Blue Card" which resulted in a savings of $300. This was a terrific experience overall which I want to share with everyone coming to Google for advice and counsel on their eyes and how to care for them properly. Pisgah Vision is the place to go.
i do not recommend — the eye exams and prescriptions are inaccurate. i ordered glasses with the prescription they gave me 3 times and still was incorrect.
