The eye exam was ok. After I had the exam, they dilated my eyes. I waited 45 minutes to have my eyes examined after dilation. I finally had to leave because I had another appointment to get to. The main reason for my one star rating is the experience of buying glasses. I picked out frames and they had the glasses made. When I went to pick them up, I could tell that they were not made properly. They didn’t really care to understand the issue I was having and just offered to remake them. I had them remade and they still were not correct. I was then told that the frame that I selected would not work with the progressive lenses. I had to reselect the frame and have them made a third time. I went back again to pick up the glasses and they were still not right. At that point I was done trying. They refuse to give me a refund. The second frames that I selected were less expensive than the first, and they resisted, giving me a refund of the difference until I pushed the matter and they finally mailed me a check for $10 even though the difference they quoted me was $15. I’ve worn glasses my entire life and I have never had to have glasses remade once let alone 3 times. The customer service is terrible. They don’t care to try to figure out what the issue is or how they can correct an issue. It was really disappointing to spend $240 on glasses and use my insurance benefits on glasses that I’m unable to wear. I didn’t feel that I should give them a fourth try to get the glasses right because they did not seem to care or be committed in getting them made properly.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Place Eye Care. Dr. Oksana is always thorough, professional, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Each visit is quick and stress-free. Highly recommend for quality eye care!!

While on my way to my appointment, I got stuck in traffic. I called and indicated I would be late and wanted to know whether to continue or reschedule. Told to come on in and they would take care of me. Great job. BTW I've been going there almost 50 years!!

First ever visit, and I can only say that I have found a new home for eye care. The staff was inviting and friendly, as well as knowledgeable. My Dr. Was amazing. As she did so many familiar procedures, she explained them in a very simple and understandable way, giving me a better understanding of each step and it's importance to total ocular health.

My mother went here for a decade or so. Her last appt was over a year ago, and we received a bill shortly after. I called the insurance and they gave me the code for the procedure. So I called the office with the code. The office manager was argumentative, rude, unprofessional saying that's the code they used. Ooookkkkl? Why wouldn't someone from office call insurance themselves?? Since then my mother has received three bills, and three more times have called insurance and called office. This week was the fourth time. I won't call insurance or office again,nor would I recommend anyone. Not sure why the office won't submit proper code or hey, even call insurance to ask why they haven't been paid. Nope, they would rather belittle customers and spend money mailing the same bill over and over.
