I had a really positive experience & overall great first impression at Platnium Eye Care. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and really easy to talk to. I was greeted promptly and the initial paperwork was pretty straight forward -not overly cumbersome to complete like some places. I was brought back within minutes by a staff member who took time to listen to me, addressed my concerns and gather information for the doctor. Wait time for the doctor was only a couple of minutes which was nice. Dr. Sikes was super nice & very knowledgeable. He took time to introduce himself and was friendly & relateable during the visit. The eye exam was easy and thorough. I highly recommend!

Dr. Sikes is an outstanding optometrist. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire exam. His staff was friendly, professional, and efficient, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. I never felt rushed, and it was obvious that Dr. Sikes genuinely cares about his patients and providing excellent eye care. I highly recommend Dr. Sikes to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough optometrist!
I recently visited Dr. Sikes and his team at the eye doctor and couldn’t be more pleased with the care I received. From the moment I walked in, Dr. Sikes and the staff showed genuine concern for my eye health and overall well-being—treating me like a person, not just another appointment. They were quick and efficient without feeling rushed, getting me in and out smoothly while addressing everything thoroughly. I also appreciated the solid discount they offered on a new pair of sunglasses, which was a great bonus for protecting my vision moving forward. Highly recommend Dr. Sikes and this practice to anyone looking for professional, compassionate eye care. Five stars!
I had the most bizarre experience I have ever had at an eye doctor here. I made an appointment for an eye dilation after having some recent changes in vision. Upon making the appointment, the staff never informed me that my doctor was no longer at this practice. At check in, the reception staff requested my medical insurance as they wanted to bill my visit through that. After trying to explain to them that my insurance wouldn't cover it, they brought Dr. Sykes out. While trying to explain to Dr. Sykes what was going on and why I needed to be seen, he continued to argue with me about insurance. I told the doctor that I didn't want to use medical insurance for my eye visit, and that I would pay out of pocket. It took me asking three times before the would give me a price for an eye dilation. ($75). While trying to explain to the doctor why I was there, (since he's never seen me before), I became emotional because what happened to me was truly terrifying! Long story short, if you are a patient who is concerned about your health and scared because of something that happened to you, then you are "making a scene in his lobby." I truly don't understand how you can call yourself a doctor when a patient is emotional about their health and you think that is causing a scene. It seems to me, that YOU were upset I didn't want you to bill my medical insurance so you could get more money. I am so glad I had someone with me to witness how this doctor acted and treated me in a time of medical uncertainty.
Dr. Cameron Sikes & his staff are competent, caring, efficient & some of the kindest folks you'll meet for your eye care! They exceeded my family's expectations with their excellent service. I'm now a loyal patient & would highly recommend Platinum Eye Care.
