I had my regular yearly eye exam as a longstanding patient. All staff from the perfect first impression reception staff to the highly trained technician to the knowledgeable Doctors were professional, courteous and respectful. Every concern for my eye health that I may have had were addressed and discussed fully and clearly. I LOVE being a part of a health team that truly cares about me. A pleasure to know each and every one of them as people as well. I would recommend them fully to anyone looking for such a practice to call them today!

I have been seeing Dr. Grotton for many years now and have nothing but good things to say! I appreciate seeing the same ladies (support staff) working there year after year. They are always friendly, professional, and make the experience that much better. Dr. Alex is absolutely fantastic! She is smart, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her patients.

The entire office is absolutely spectacular. While kindness has become a dirty word, this office is teeming with it. When I am anxious and want to come in, they make every effort to get me in so much sooner. I've never had a bad word or experience here.

I had my first appointment at Portland Eyecare after my insurance changed and I needed to find a new eye doctor. I’m so glad I found them! Everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and personable from the moment I walked in. I never felt rushed, and the doctor, Andrew Kaper, took the time to answer all of my questions with thoughtful advice and clear explanations. The technology they use is excellent—I especially appreciated the option to have retinal imaging instead of dilation (well worth the small fee), and I was thrilled that there was no dreaded puff of air test! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’m happy to have found such a great new eye care office. I would definitely recommend Portland Eyecare to anyone looking for an eye doctor.
