Warby Parker - Middle St

Great selection of frames and very friendly knowledgable staff members. The trying on was pressure-free and the actual ordering was super easy. I have been a Warby Parker customer for years and I'm so happy to have a store nearby now (used to order online or go to Boston). They do a terrific job on my progressive lenses.

The store is gorgeous and fun! I visited at a time when no one else was shopping, so my experience was really relaxed. I can imagine it might have been different had the store been busy with other shoppers. Based on when I was there (Wednesday afternoon) it was perfect. The staff who helped me was wonderful. He greeted me but wasn't overly pushy or hard at trying to make a sale. He answered my questions and then I explored the frames on my own. When it came time to make my purchase he was efficient and the check out was simple. Advice - make sure to bring a copy of your prescription. He filed my insurance claim too and had insight into helping to maximize the benefits I might receive for reimbursement. I have ordered from Warby Parker online before and I've now had a great experience at a brick and mortar location. I would definitely return. It's also in the perfect location to explore the Old Port shopping and make a fun little afternoon trip out of it. The only downside is there's no designated parking, but it's downtown city and to be expected! There's plenty of street parking and a garage directly across the street essentially.

I walked into Warby Parker in Portland because I previously bought a pair of sunglasses online from them but wanted to try on different ones in person today. They have so many choices. Brandon was very good at answering all my questions and completing my sale. Plus I will get them in the mail in 7-10 days! Very exciting for me and loved my experience.

The store is attractive, clean, modern and has many choices for frames. The sales person was knowledgeable and personable. He had no trouble working with my insurance which covered the total cost. I am delighted with my experience. I will add that going to a brick and mortar store was helpful in my selection.

I had the pleasure of attending the preview event at the new Warby Parker store on Middle Street this past Thursday morning, and I was blown away! The space is beautiful and inviting, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially loved the artwork by local Maine artist, Christopher David Ryan - it adds such a lovely and colorful touch to the space! Even though the staff were busy with the event, they ensured that each guest was getting any help they needed. I found several pairs of glasses that I loved, and the staff were great at helping me narrow down my choices and find the perfect frames for my face shape. I look forward to receiving my new glasses in 7-10 days! Overall, I had a wonderful time at the preview event and I can't wait to go back to pick them up. I highly recommend this store to anyone in the Portland area who is looking for stylish and affordable eyewear.
