I have used Price optical for over 20 years. The new owner/manager is arrogant and conceited. They lied to me about my lenses as well. My exam /prescrition was wrong. They said they made a new lens for my left side , but they cannot make my prescription in house. It has to be sent out, taking 7-10 days I will never be back

Twice in two years I’ve had issues with my glasses first time the non glare coating was peeling on my lenses I was one month out of warranty Price optical offered no help. Just you need to buy new lenses. This year my frames had a paint peeling issue sorry out of warranty one month. I’m not new there I pay cash, no eye insurance. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t offer a discount or some customer courtesy. I think they may be offering poorer quality products than their competition. I’ve not had this problem with other eye offices and I’ve been wearing glasses since 5th grade. I’m now 70 worst experience with eye professionals.
Pre-visit phone calls were all handled well by staff. I brought my 94 year old mother in for an exam. Wait time minimal. Dr Phibbs was patient and kind, taking the time to explain fully the options to my mother. I would definitely recommend Dr. Phibbs.
My daughter's experience with toddler glasses. Hoping that manager of 7/30 has a better attitude regarding toddlers. My granddaughter 'scratched' her brand new glasses in under 10 minutes, yes she put the glasses in her mouth, and yes the lens was 'gouged' but here's the kicker, GD is in speech therapy cause she cannot 'bite down on stuff' due to a growing issue. Turns out the original clerk did not tell her that lens for toddler glasses are not scratch coated (issurance doesn't pay) .. I'm sorry, coating should come standard .. it does in other brand companies. What broke the camels back, manager refering to the GD as a dog (or acting like a dog) .. Unexeceptable .. I'll be in when she picks up the new set of lenses. I'll change this review when things get resolved.
Been going here for years!! Everyone is so nice and considerate!! I highly recommend!!
