2/17/2026 Had an opportunity to visit the UPMC Opthamology on Warren Ave. Williamsport PA again & am so glad to be able to address my glaucoma locally. Thank you Dr. Yan, Jane & Lauri. You are all amazing and I appreciate your care and expertise! A. Nettuno July 2025 Dr. Adams, Shaheen & Lauri were the three wonderful, friendly & most accommodating people that I met at this office. The eye tests were thorough, non-invasive & I felt confident about the diagnosis. I thank all of you! I am glad that I selected your practice. A. Nettuno

I went to urgent care with an eye infection in both eyes. 4 days later, the antibiotics aren’t doing it. So I called Geisinger opthamology who’s more than happy to get me in but I have to drive to Danville with two tiny children and an eye infection in two eyes, not exactly my idea of fun. So I called UPMC to see if I could find an ophthalmologist locally that would see me for this infection. The staff was very nice and even she was surprised at the doctor’s response. The doctor basically told me to push on and said I needed to go to my optometrist to be evaluated. I was pretty surprised and disappointed considering every other person I’ve gone to for this has been willing to see me, it’s just a matter of can I do that with my kids tagging along. I’ve had very FEW good experiences with UPMC in general and this just adds to my list of grievances with the system. I’ve never been particularly pleased with UPMC and this was really disappointing. Was not expecting to be blown off for a double eye infection that’s not improving with antibiotics. Weird.
