The only reason I am give two stars is because of the appearance of the office is clean and neat since they remodeled and moved location. Today I had a EEG scheduled at 9am I was told to sleep deprive myself for the exam. They charge you $25 if you are late for the appointment and you will be rescheduled. I am always on time for my appointments and arrived 15 minutes early only to be told that my appointment had been scheduled and they “left a message” they looked at my account and realized I was never called and apologized, however I have barely gotten any sleep, had to miss half a day at work, and they can’t schedule another appointment for 2 weeks. I find this extremely unprofessional and not to standards of a medical office. I don’t mind waiting long amounts of time for a doctor to see me, I don’t mind them calling to reschedule appointments, but to not call, waste my time, and to deprive me of sleep for no reason is not okay. I will be looking for a new neurologist office that is more professional.

45 minute avg wait to get calls answered. Then you have to call numerous times to make sure you doctor receives calls. A quote from a doctor who dismissed me as a patient because I made multiple complaints about His office manager “even I get put on forty minute holds to get cut off”. The office manager refused to correct a simple issue for a bone scan to the point where it was too late to get because my multiple wrist breaks were fused together. So a threat to report her to corporate resulted in her getting the dr to sign off on my patient termination. Again they refused to let me speak to the dr and never addressed medication issues I was having. Simply a note and goodbye. Two practicing doctors there told me they were never receiving my multiple messages.

Horrible experience with their staff. I got to my appointment at 9:10 am and at 10:50 am they called me in. Dr. Appelbaum is a great Neurologist but unfortunately staff is not. Tec that had to do my test was walking around and talking with other staff members and when I complained they decided to help me. Hopefully Dr can replace some of the staff members for a better customer service experience.

The Doctors there are wonderful . Doc Goodstein , Doc Burrei , Doc Leibowitz , thank you for all you have done and continue to do for her . Unfortunately, Melissa , who is in charge of getting prior authorization medications thru has not done a thing for us . Its been sonce 5/25 she refuses to call us back , has told the pharmacy we need to pay out of pocket and fle an appeal . She even went so far as hanging up with a representative for united Healthcare when he called to try and resolve this . Doctor Goodsteun told my husband last werk that he would call this thru himself . Melissa refuses to give him the messages . Please someone get this thru . I do not understand why Melissa is being so vindictive , this is a patient who needs this medication to get out of pain . Someone please do something . Doc Goodstein please call us back . You always have been so wonderful , i do not want to leave this office because of one inept employee . Please someone look into this . We may not be the only one that is experincing this . Thank you for letting me say this . And thank all of you in that office who have been so wonderful to Daniella and have helped her throughout this illness . Please , please get Doc Goodstein to call us . Daniella needs to speak to him . Thank you

Met with Dr. Kaplan today, and from the moment we walked in, it was a good experience. The reception area staff was friendly and helpful, as was the doctor, he was also very non-alarmist, informative, and easy to speak with. Can't say I had anything close to the poor experience some of the reviews here mention, maybe this office corrected whatever they were doing wrong.
