This business is located inside the Eye Center of Charleston (both locations). I really prefer to buy my glasses from the same place I get my prescription, so that there is no "passing the buck" if there is an issue. I have purchased 2 pairs of glasses, on separate occasions from Professional Optical and am very happy. The optician spent time with me to ensure I would have glasses to meet my needs as well as look great. Both Karen and Stephanie are knowledgeable and friendly. My first purchase, I picked up and it was fitted to perfection. However, because of my extreme mobility issues, I had the second pair mailed to me. Naturally, a small business is a bit more pricey than the large budget chains, but they have glasses in a variety of price ranges. Because I do not have eye insurance, I received an "uninsured" discount that I appreciated. I will absolutely shop with them again.
