Picked up my third pair of glasses today and have nothing but great things to say. I used to have to go into Boston to get my glasses until I found Public Spectacle Opticians. Close to home and I recommend to anyone looking for an optical shop. He is courteous, kind, knowledgeable, genuine and so much more!
Trying to find a place to get my eyes tested and order some glasses. Called this guy and once I mentioned Masshealth he chuckled and the rest of the convo he was super condescending. Laughed when I didn’t understand the process. Then when I asked more questions he pretended he lost the call and suddenly couldn’t hear me. I know he had good reviews but man, learn to deal with the public a bit better. Felt like he judged me over the phone and was super dismissive. Even when I get my prescription, I would never give this dude business. Learn how to talk to people.
Doug is one of the nicest person I have ever met. He has been in the eyeglass business for years and it shows. He has a solution to every problem that my wife and I have experienced over the years. I would highly recommend him to anybody. He is honest and competitively priced.
The owner and optometrist of the shop, Doug, is an extremely nice man and the best at his profession. He's very knowledgeable and his craftsmanship is unparalleled! He's the only one I'll go to for frames! You gotta go see Doug at Public Spectacle for all your glasses needs! Highly recommend!!!!!!
I cannot say enough nice things regarding Public Spectacle. I stepped on my glasses last night. I literally can't see without them. I brought them to PS because that's where I got them praying I didn't have to replace them. A super nice guy fixed them in five minutes. Saving me tons!! I won't go anywhere else to get glasses. New frames this weekend!! Thank you for your help and kindness!! He truly cares about customer satisfaction.
