The male employee named Rob was extremely rude and unprofessional. He didn’t greet me, stared at me, and only said “What?!” before processing my return in silence with no explanation. He suddenly became talkative only when a female coworker came back from her break, showing he can speak normally but chooses not to with customers. Other Ray-Ban stores have treated me professionally, so this location seriously needs to improve its basic customer service and professionalism.

I have genuinely never been treated with this level of disrespect by a retail employee. The employee, Thea Garrido (a young Asian woman with bleached hair and blue streaks), was unbelievably rude, condescending, and unprofessional from the moment I asked a simple question about my refund. Instead of explaining the situation, she spoke down to me, acted as if I was stupid, and repeatedly dismissed my concerns. Her attitude was incredibly hostile over what should have been a routine customer service interaction. What shocked me the most was how comfortable she seemed behaving this way. She raised her voice at me in front of other customers, laughed when I asked for her name, and literally said, "Yeah, report me if you want." I've never had an employee openly encourage me to file a complaint because they clearly didn't think there would be any consequences. What makes this even worse is that she was wrong. After I had left, another Ray-Ban store confirmed that the information I had been given was incorrect. Instead of simply admitting the mistake, she lied to the other Ray-Ban store. I've been a Ray-Ban customer for years, and this experience was honestly embarrassing. No customer deserves to be talked down to, mocked, or treated with this level of arrogance for asking a perfectly reasonable question. If this is how customers are treated at the UTC location, management seriously needs to address it.

Bought brand new glasses for over $200 and the guy cleaning them showed no respect for the purchase and rubbed them down so hard with the cloth that I heard cracking noises. Ridiculous location.

Store Visit Review – 8/17/2025 (Evening) I came into the store to purchase a new pair of Meta Ray-Ban glasses, since my old frame had stopped working. During the transaction, I did not see the sales associate open the box in front of me, but I trusted that I was being given a brand-new pair. After leaving the store and attempting to connect the glasses in my car, I was surprised to see that the app indicated the glasses had already been connected to another device and prompted me to perform a factory reset. This was concerning, as it suggested the product was not new. I immediately returned to the store and informed the sales staff. One of the associates responded that he had opened the box “in the back,” which I found troubling—why would a product be opened out of sight rather than in front of the customer? He then retrieved another pair, this time allowing me to open it myself. Upon doing so, I noticed the new glasses were properly wrapped with protective paper, something missing from the first pair, further confirming that the original product given to me was not new. While I am thankful I caught this issue before unknowingly using a used device, the experience has left me questioning the store’s practices and whether I can trust future purchases here. Transparency during product handling and ensuring customers receive truly new items is extremely important, especially for high-value electronics.

The UTC store associate was very patient to help me choose the correct frame color.
